Exosomes

Anti-Aging, Rejuvenation, and Repair at a Cellular level

Throughout life, your body produces stem cells and regenerative materials to repair and protect yourself from damage from aging, stress, and the environment.

As you age, your body produces less and less of these materials and it results in bigger amounts of damage showing in the skin as skin laxity, wrinkles, sallow and tired looking skin and slower wound repair.

What are Exosomes?

Exosomes are very small nano-sized packages created by cells containing growth factors, membrane transport proteins, tetraspanins, biogenesis-related proteins, heat shock proteins and others.

Stem cells have already been used in the treatment of various diseases including myocardial infarction, spinal cord injury, graft-versus-host disease, Crohn’s disease, OA, SLE, and in regeneration and skin rejuvenation. The way stem cells deliver their effect is through extracellular vesicles, primarily exosomes.

  • Skin Rejuvenating and tightening

  • Improve skin pigmentation problems

  • Improve the appearance of scars

  • Strengthen skin and lessen laxity

  • Improve fine lines and wrinkles

  • Hair Restoration

Benefits of Exosomes

Exosomes are delivered to the skin or hair through several ways:

Microneedling - micro sized needles physically make small channels in the skin to allow delivery of the medication.

Fractional Laser-delivered Exosomes - A fractional laser is used, which makes microscopic channels in your skin to allow the exosomes to enter. The laser itself also helps promote the formation of new collagen in the skin.

Injections - tiny amounts of exosomes are directly injected into the skin layers to achieve a direct effect. (Currently being researched and not FDA approved yet)

The type of delivery has its own benefits and depend on the condition being treated. Our dermatologists use multiple delivery systems per area of the face or scalp to achieve maximum effect.

How are they used?

ASCE+ SLRV Exosomes

ASCE+ Exosomes from ExoCoBio are our premiere option for advanced cell regeneration for the skin and hair.

Is it safe?

Although this is safe in the right hands, there are contraindications and side effects may occur especially in patients with sensitivities and autoimmune conditions, which is why only our board-certified dermatologists, Dr. Imelda Cervantes and Dr. Juan Antonio Cervantes, perform this procedure.
